Biography

Grace began her dance training at the University of Iowa Youth Ballet at the age of 7. Grace quickly fell in love with ballet as a form of movement and as a form of expression. Grace continued her dance training at the Youth Ballet throughout high school and performed in numerous shows put together by Youth Ballet staff such as Alice in Wonderland, Paquita, Chopiniana, and Souvenirs. Grace additionally attended the Milwaukee Ballet Pre-Professional Summer Intensive for two years during which she received training from world-renown professional dancers and instructors. 

Grace began teaching at the Youth Ballet as a teaching assistant for the youngest levels during her senior year of high school. She continued teaching throughout her undergraduate and graduate degrees, and now teaches Levels 3, 4, and 5 as well as pointe. Grace has also assisted with and directed the Youth Ballet Performance Ensemble for several years, helping to lead productions such as the Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz, and An Evening on Saint Saens.
