Grace Johnson is an Iowa City native and began her dance training at the UIYB at the age of 7. She quickly fell in love with dance as a form of movement and as a form of expression. Grace received training at the Milwaukee Ballet Summer Intensive for two years and continued her dance education at the UIYB through high school. Grace began teaching at the UIYB in 2018 as a teaching assistant, and now teaches Levels 3, 4, and 5 as well as Pointe, and has been assisting and choreographing for the performance ensemble for the last 3 years. Grace has a passion for instilling discipline and a love for classical ballet in each of her students. She recently finished her studies in the Psychology program at the University and looks forward to continuing to work with the students at the UIYB.
