Josie Hermiston grew up dancing at the UIYB and is now an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa. Dance has always been an important source of creativity for Josie and she hopes to foster a welcoming environment in her classes to support that. Josie began assisting in the UIYB in high school and now gets to work with a variety of groups from wee dance to the adult classes. Her favorite thing about teaching at the UIYB is getting to stay involved with such a supportive and creative community.
