Rowan Bergen grew up dancing on and off since early childhood. Inspired by her teachers, Rowan went to the University of Iowa and double-majored in both Dance and English & Creative Writing. She graduated in 2021.

Rowan began teaching for the Youth Ballet and Community Dance School during her undergraduate studies, starting in early 2019. She has taught a variety of classes including Wee Dance (parent/guardian with child), Creative Movement 1 and 2, Pre-Ballet, Level 1A and 1B Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Stretch. 

In addition to teaching, Rowan works on the Administrative Team as the Administrative Assistant. She is passionate about arts administration and bringing dance to everyone of all ages.
