After practicing her dance technique on and off since early childhood, Rowan Bergen decided to pursue a career in dance education in the areas she grew up, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. She has been teaching with the UI Youth Ballet and Community Dance School since the start of 2019, and has taught a variety of classes including Creative Movement 1, Creative Movement 2, Pre-Ballet, and Level 1A/B. In addition to teaching, Rowan is both our Administrative Assistant and manages social media for our program. 

Rowan is an recent alumni of the University of Iowa and is excited to mold the young minds of our great community through the art of dance.
